Our Story...
Her Story
Brian and I met online. I sent the first message, but he took the reins from there. We met in August 2014 and he took me on three terrific dates after that we started seeing each other very regularly, and by the holidays I knew he was the man for me.

We spent a year and a half getting to know each other better, and getting to know each other's friends and family. Finally we were ready to take the plunge. Brian proposed on a roof top in Miami on Leap Day (my favorite holiday!).

His Story

The first time I heard from Rachel was after a weekend when I avoided my email. I was avoiding my email because I was back in the online dating scene and I didn't want to spoil my weekend checking to see if anyone had viewed or rated my profile. When I did get enough courage to check my email I had a message from a girl I would soon learn was named Rachel. She was pretty forward about getting together at a newly opened beer cafe, which turned out to be the perfect read for getting a response from me: I wasn't much for the back-and-forth messaging of the internet dating world and it turn out that I also liked beer! Needless to say, I responded and said we should meet up.
I arrived at Beermiscuous first on the night we first met. I remember contemplating how to make that first greeting. Once I got that awkward greeting out of the way, we grabbed a couple of drinks and the rest of the night breezed by. Even before we got the second round of drinks I knew this was a special girl. Chatting with her was so effortless no matter what topic we landed upon. I even shared my idea for my top secret rap website! (which is still totally in the works!) The great kicker of the night is that I tried to play if off cool and not be too nosy and let her walk home by herself. She luckily forgave me for this error and we've been together ever since!

Our Wedding
​
We will be married on January 14 at Rachel's current parish, St. Clement in Chicago. We're excited to celebrate the sacrament of marriage with all of our family and friends around us as witness. After the wedding, an evening reception will follow at Victoria Banquets in Rosemont. We're so excited to celebrate our new life together!
